We host improv jams every 1st and 3rd Thursday that are open to the public and all skill levels.

Come do improv with us!

What to expect: Everyone is welcome (ages 13+), regardless of experience level – even if you've never done improv before. We usually do circle games, warmup activities, and run some scenes. It’s a great way to jump into improv whether you’re a seasoned improviser or are curious to try it out for the first time.

Location: Jillian's Drawers, 609 W Clinton St, Ithaca in the Community Room. The entrance is close to Clinton Street, on the side of the building facing CVS. Look for "improv jam" signs.

Dates and times: Jams are at 6pm on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month. You can find specifics on the Events page.

Parking: There's a large, free parking lot with plenty of space between Jillian's Drawers and CVS.

Cost: These jams are donation-based with a suggested donation of $5 (cash or Venmo are fine). Please join us even if donating is not an option for you.

If you arrive late: The doors to Jillian's Drawers will likely be locked. Look for a sign on the door with Mads’ phone number – call or text and they’ll let you in.

After the jam: We often hang out at Liquid State afterwards. They have a great selection of drinks (including non-alcoholic) and food at Silo.
